<\/p>\nI think the Doors have two types of songs: the good ones, that are overplayed, and the prentious ones, that should never be played. I’m also quite content with Dennis Leary’s summary of the story of Jim Morrison: “I’m drunk, I’m no one, I’m drunk, I’m famous, I’m drunk, I’m f*cking dead.”<\/p>\n
They did write some good songs though, and Jim was the quintessential troubled troubador for his time*, with all the boozin’ and drug abuse that goes with the territory.
