For the record, here are the (tribute) bands playing this weekend.  It's worth pointing out that these are all either existing local bands doing a tribute act for one night, or super-groups consisting of dudes (and at least one dudette) from multiple kick-ass local bands for one night only.  Except for the Damned – that'll be a three-off, by the end of the weekend, as La Mere Vipere was also The Damned for Halloween last year – and Blue Oyster Cult, which is playing twice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
