I'm playing old favorites that are workplace-appropriate, so I have a show I can let my coworkers listen to at work…
UPDATE: Yay! Every song was awesome. I was a little frustrated when putting this show together, because I ran across a song with a chorus that goes "All fucked up on the booze and the drugs / How long you gonna be in the bathroom, baby?" and I love that song, and I was sad that I couldn't play it tonight because it wouldn't fly at work. But it turned out I didn't miss it and I still had a bunch of stuff left over cuz' time was more limited than I thought, as per usual. I stand behind every song I played tonight as an absolutely beautiful representation of what a song should be. And also as a damn fine thing to drink to. Check out the podcast by clicking here, and check us out on Facebook by clicking here.

Hey, guys – we're starting out with a bunch of stuff in a laid-back brit-poppy kind of vein, before moving on into something else. Rest assured, we continue to fulfill our remit to the fullest extent, and promise to get you hammered if you're drinking along at home.
Update: Well, THAT was fun… we had a couple of discrete blocks of music that went together stylistically, which is something we don't really do, normally. Mostly, the show flows naturally, but not much in a genre sense, cuz' we hop all over the place. Today, there were only like four or five jumps, with a bunch of nice hops n' skips inside. Click here to download the podcast from Radio4All, if you'd like to partake of the delightful awesomeness. And as always, if you do Facebook – or really, if you do internet, since you don't have to like, have a Facebook account to enjoy it – you can check out our Facebook page here.

I will be going through the new local shelves, and my ridiculously random collection of stuff here on the network here at the station, to fill the next two hours with boozy goodness. Crack open something liquorish and join me!

Hey, guys… Music about booze. A little unorganized tonight. Bear with me a bit, while I recombobulate my shit. Thanks!
Okay, I got it together, after playing a bunch of good music, and went on to play a bunch of good music. And then I played this month's Rum Doings episode. Fantasticness abounded!
UPDATE: Now that it's all done, you can download it by clicking here. Go on, do it. Make yourself happy. Hear good music. Get drunk. Drink, drink the wine. They'll be here with flamethrowers! Also, click here to visit our Facebook page. We like 'Likes' like that.

As promised/threatened in December of last year, when I refused to play any Christmas songs, we're doing a Christmas show! Take THAT, Jesus-lovers!
UPDATE: That was actually fun. I didn't really hate ALL of the music, just probably a quarter of it or so. Which is doing really GOOD, for a fucking Christmas Music show. Check it out at Radio4All by clicking here. And as always, check us out on Facebook by clicking here.

This Saturday, there's this thing called Schneckapalooza going down in Mechanicsville that has a ridiculous number of local bands playing. I thought I would try to feature as many of them as I could find recordings by… we'll see how it goes!
UPDATE: It went pretty damn good, though we only got to hear one song from my three favorite bands. Which was kind of frustrating, but at the same time, probably for the best, cuz' I play them all the time, and the stuff that came earlier in the show was all new to me and – possibly – all new to you, the Mother's Milk listener. Wanna listen? Download the podcast of the show from Radio4All by clicking here. And if you do the whole Facebook thing, click here to visit our Facebook page. We like it when you like us. The weather's been hot lately, so I thought I'd do a show with all rum and gin songs. It's gonna be eclectic.

I want sleep! But I also want booze, and I also want to play you songs about booze, and those desires trump any lesser cravings for sleep or food.
UPDATE: Christ, I think I'm going to be sick, I should not put this many vodka shots on a stomach this empty. It's not big deal, tho, cuz' I got the show done, and that's the important thing. Did you miss it? that's no big deal either. You can click here to download it from Radio4All. Spanning the years from 1968 to 2012, and a gajillion genres as is our wont, it was a solid show that you will no doubt enjoy. If you dig Mother's Milk, check out our Facebook page by clicking here. It'd make me happy if you did so.

Tonight we close out Drug Month with artists who died due to drug-related causes! Hooray! After an hour and fifteen minutes of that, we're rocking Episode 26 of Rum Doings, which is delightfully distant from its original recording date of a couple of years ago. Nick and John discuss the upcoming election (which, obviously, upcame a few years ago), and comparing their thoughts then with their thoughts later, after experiencing the results of that election is… amusing, instructive, distressing, and – as always – entertaining.
UPDATE: That was awesome. I kind of want to continue it next week cuz' there was so much stuff I didn't get around to, but the thing about Drug Month is it's only a month long. Download the podcast here if you missed it. As always, check us out on Facebook by clicking here.
