Setlist – 02/25/2008

Rather than doing an eclectic show of songs where the topic is the only unifier, I’m gonna do a show of songs unified solely by their creator: tonight we showcase Rev. Horton Heat in all his psychobilly glory.

Why? Because we CAN!

No, seriously, that’s why. I finally got enough of his albums that I think I can pull off a full show. If you’re a fan of the Rev, stay tuned, cuz’ it’ll be all awesome, all the time, for the next two hours. If you aren’t familiar with his work… the same applies.

All who know the Rev love him, so those are the only two categories of people that exist, right? Most likely. Anyways, I’ll be listing the songs I play after the break, so just hit ‘Read More’ and see what you’re hearin’.

Next week begins “Live Album Month”, where the last hour of the show consists of a live album from a famously drunk band/performer. I haven’t decided on who I’ll be playing yet, but the Pogues are sure to make an appearance. Thanks for listening!
