This is stretched a bit too much, probably...

Well, it's that time of year. Went ahead n' broke out another themed show. Thankfully, we are back to booze – Drug Month is OVER – so it was not so hard. I decided to go with American places. I don't think much of the politics in this place, a lot of the time, and I don't like to judge people, per se, but there are some neat places in the good ole' USA, and I like that that is true. So I'm celebrating it on this, our semi-birthday. I hope you'll all drink along with me at home, as we explore some wonderfully American places – some more than others; Milwaukee has a disproportionate number of drinking songs written about it. Tho I guess, really, it's just appropriately portionate.

UPDATE: That was pretty successful. I ran out of time, and learned that I sucked at geography but continue to be pretty effing good at picking out songs. If you missed it live and want to listen, click here to download a recording of the show, from Radio4All. And like I always say, if you use Facebook and you're not a fan of Mother's Milk on Facebook, you are doing yourself and your children a disservice. You can check us out on Facebook by clicking here

LOLcats are awesome. You know it's true.

Not quite, but almost. I was feeling a bit under the weather after WAY too much Aristocrat over the course of past few days, so I took some listener requests and ran with 'em. Lotsa good music. Also, this bein' the last show of May, we're airing Rum Doings around quarter past the second hour, so you've got that to look forward to!

For the record, if you'd like to download the Rum Doings episode we played tonight, click here and grab it.

UPDATE: The podcast is up! If you missed the show live, go on 'n click here to download it from Radio4All. It was really good! As per always, please feel free to check out our Facebook page by clicking here – we'd love it if you 'Liked' us.

Expect The Worst!

We are playing awful songs, tonight. On purpose. Just for the first hour, tho. I promise the second hour will be awesome! I am hoping you will find the first hour to be… culturally interesting, if nothing else. Basically, it's a bunch of songs that, upon hearing, you will be praying for a drink to recover from.

Some of the songs only reach their badness-pinnacle when you see the video that accompanied them. So I've linked to the videos for all of the songs in the badness set that had 'em. Just click 'read more' to see the setlist, and click where appropriate. Believe it or not, I had a lot of fun tonight. But I promise not to do it again for at least another year. Scout's honor. 🙂

For the record, as per usual, you can download the episode in all of its magical glory by clicking here. And equally for-the-record, we'd just LOVE it if you'd click here to check out our Facebook page, and maybe even click the 'Like' button after doing so.
