Horror Sundayz for 1/31/2010
So, then… it snowed, if you haven’t looked outside. So you might be trapped at home. If you’re not, and you’re suffering from ye olde cabin fever, why not check out Horror Sundayz? Joseph has a downright awesome lineup this weekend: The Whip and the Body, directed by Mario Bava, can’t fail to be solid. Christopher Lee? And, err, directed by Mario Bava? That’s at 8:00 PM. 10:00 PM brings you the more recent film The Bunker which I’ve heard lots of good things about. It’s been on my to-watch list for a couple of years. Finally, at midnight… A bonafide classic, Lucio Fulci’s City of the Living Dead. This is one of my favorite Fulci flicks, and is tons o’ fun. And plagues and gore and apocalypse. The good stuff!
Horror Sundayz: every week from 8 PM to close at McCormack’s Irish Pub, 12 N. 18th St., Shockoe Bottom.
